PUEBLO — Gov. Bill Ritter will sign an executive order today encouraging state agencies to buy American- made products when using stimulus money for construction projects.
The signing will take place at 4 p.m. at the steelworkers union hall in Pueblo.
“It sends a message that we want to spend our taxpayer dollars investing in American jobs,” said state Rep. Sal Pace, D-Pueblo.
