NUNN, Colo.—Residents in Nunn have re-elected two town trustees and have chosen five new town leaders in a recall election.
Six members of the town Board of Trustees faced a recall Tuesday. Voters retained Joyce Taylor and Jenny Johnson, elected new board members Patti Norris, Bobbie Crosby, Wilber Schooler and Thomas Bender, and chose Joe Bagby as the new mayor.
Of the 296 registered voters in town, 134 cast ballots.
In August, recall petitions were circulated against Mayor Jeff Pigue and Trustees Christy Alexander and Jack Smith following a former mayor’s ouster.
Soon after, petitions were circulated to recall Taylor, Johnson and Karen Burd over separate disputes.
