Charges against a Denver couple will be increased to child abuse resulting in death after their 3-week-old son died early Saturday at Children’s Hospital.
Travis Anderson, 26, and Crystal Eccleston, 27, were being held on $200,000 bond each in the Denver County Jail, police said.
Hospital staff called investigators Wednesday when they determined the boy’s injuries were consistent with physical abuse. The infant had been in critical condition since then.
