Age: 17. Born: Dec. 23, 1991, in Fort Collins.

High school sports: Basketball (guard, 2009 Class 5A all-state honorable mention by The Denver Post) and volleyball (middle blocker).

Grade-point average: 3.99.

Class: Senior.

My favorite subject: Calculus.

My favorite athlete: Matt Bouldin.

My favorite team: Nuggets.

What I listen to: Just about everything, but for the most part it’s alternative.

The best thing on my training table: Chicken salad.

Pregame ritual: I try not to do any of that (superstitious) stuff; I just have the same kind of gum before every game.

Time management tip: You really have to sort out your priorities, what you need to get done first, and definitely don’t procrastinate and wait until the last second.

Planned career: Elementary education, a first-grade teacher; signed to play basketball at the University of Denver.

My family: Parents Jim and Jonna, brother Trevor, sister Taylor.

I would love to visit: Greek Islands.

What I like most about high school sports: I really like the rivalries, the crosstown ones, which are always a lot of fun to play, and the fact it can be a great team in any year.

What I like least about high school sports: I’m not a huge fan of the hair-control rule. There are so many rules for girls to keep their hair back and what you can and can’t wear.
