Ready or not, the bowl season is upon us. Here are five predictions for how things will play out:
5. Sorry, couch commandos, but “Honey, I can’t shovel right now, I’ve got to watch the EagleBank Bowl” won’t fly.
4. TCU will have an off day and beat Boise State by two touchdowns in the Fiesta Bowl.
3. Nebraska’s Ndamukong Suh, right, will strike the Heisman pose after his fifth sack in the Holiday Bowl.
2. Several thousand Wisconsin fans will show up to pull for the Badgers in the Champs Sports Bowl. Three days later, several thousand Wisconsin fans will show up at the Capital One Bowl. Why? Duh. What part of “road trip!” don’t you get?
1. Lou Holtz will predict Notre Dame will win its bowl even though Notre Dame isn’t playing in a bowl.
