Summit County investigators have identified the Florida man killed Thursday morning on an intermediate trail at Breckenridge as Michael Crim, 41, of Temple Terrace.
Investigators said the man missed a turn from the intermediate Angel’s Rest trail at the Monte Cristo trail and skied into a tree.
Crim, who was not wearing a helmet, died from trauma to his head and pelvis, the Summit County Coroner’s Office said.
He died at Breckenridge Medical Center just before noon, about an hour after the accident.
