PHOENIX — A 5-year-old girl abducted while playing outside with her sisters was found “alive and well” Friday night after an hours-long search, police said.
Natalie Flores was rescued around 9 p.m. Friday after an officer spotted the pickup truck of the man accused of kidnapping her, Sgt. Andy Hill said.
“She is alive and well,” he said. “I’m told she’s in good condition. We have had our Christmas miracle.”
Police received the call about 2:15 p.m. that Natalie had been taken. Authorities began combing the area on foot, by car and with helicopters.
