Ohio State, Oregon and football teams from their conferences will divide approximately $17 million from the Rose Bowl game. As for the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl, there was little or no dough to speak of for Ohio University, Marshall and their conferences. But Becky Watts, chief of staff for Ohio president Roderick McDavis, doesn’t seem to mind. “The benefits of Ohio University playing in this bowl game do expand beyond athletics,” she said. “We are seen on a national stage in a positive light. We’ll have a TV spot showing the promise and strengths of the university.”
