The Regal Theater at Colorado Boulevard and Interstate 25 was robbed at gunpoint last night.
A man went to a ticket booth at 8:55 p.m. He pointed a gun at the female employee and demanded money from the ticket drawer, a Denver Police spokesman said.
The employee complied.
The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of money out the front door to a waiting black sedan.
No one was injured.
Police are looking for the suspect and his accomplice. The gunman is described as a black man with a thin build, about 5’10” tall. He has short hair and a goatee. He was wearing an Army-type jacket and an dark ball cap.
