LINCOLN, Neb.—The racing and simulcasting facility formerly known as State Fair Park will reopen as Lincoln Race Course on Friday.
The University of Nebraska took possession of the state fairgrounds and is leasing the racing portion of the property to the Nebraska Horsemen’s Benevolent and Protective Association through September 2012.
Lincoln Race Course is offering simulcast wagering seven days a week from tracks around the nation. A 32-day race meet will be held on the Race Course grounds May 14-July 18.
