Boulder homes to power up
Boulder is one of two cities in the country where developers Ron Monahan and Terry Britton are spearheading an all Net Zero neighborhood. Net Zero homes produce their own electricity and supply additional power to the electric grid. The Boulder development, Spring Leaf, is an urban infill project and one of the first of its kind. All 12 of the homes will use solar energy and geothermal heat pumps. “You’ve never been in a neighborhood like this in your life,” Britton says. Prices start in the $700,000s; the home pictured here is priced at $1.2 million. .
