FORT COLLINS, Colo.—A man hit by an RV on the side of the road last summer has died.
Motorcyclist Donald Mills Jr. died early Friday, almost six months after being hit by an RV just north of Fort Collins. Mills had been in a coma and then a vegetative state since being hit by the RV driven by 30-year-old Sean M. Cheese.
Cheese has been charged with vehicular assault. Cheese pleaded not guilty and has a trial set for Feb. 22. Prosecutors have said Cheese’s charge would be changed to vehicular homicide in the case of Mills’ death.
