AURORA, Colo.—A New Year’s Eve reveler from Aurora is dead after driving into a public bus.
Fifty-one-year-old John Tomczyk was killed when he slammed his 1989 Honda CRX into a parked bus less than two hours before midnight.
Police say Topmczyk was alone and that none of the six people aboard the bus were hurt.
Authorities say Tomczyk had been drinking and wasn’t wearing a seat belt. Tomczyk didn’t appear to stop before hitting the bus, suggesting he didn’t notice the stopped bus.
