LINCOLN, Neb.—The Nebraska women’s basketball team has matched its highest ranking in program history at No. 12 in this week’s Associated Press poll.
The Cornhuskers are 12-0 heading into Monday night’s game at Vermont.
Nebraska also was ranked No. 12 the first week of December 1997.
The Huskers are one of seven Big 12 teams in the Top 25 and the only unbeaten team in the league. They are among just five undefeated teams among 345 Division I programs.
