A solid blast of Canadian cold air is coming to Denver tomorrow. Areas of light snow will accompany the cold front but accumulations will be light.

The warm temperature readings in the 40s and 50s over the Denver area today will be replaced by temperatures 30 to 40 degrees colder by late in the day on Wednesday.

The front is expected to move south over the Front Range Wednesday morning after sunrise so the morning low on Wednesday and the high for the day will happen very close to one another and they will be almost the same number.

Temperatures will fall throughout the day Wednesday from the low 20s in the morning to the low teens by the evening commute.

The 9NEWS Weather Team does have snow in the forecast at 1 to 3 inches, but the snow will be inconsistent and will not necessarily cover all parts of the Denver area.

The National Weather Service predicts a high temperature in Denver on Wednesday of 24 degrees, with a 70 percent chance of snow. The low Wednesday night is predicted to dip to 3 degrees.
