Rejuvenate the flavors in frozen foods with a last-minute addition of fresh herbs and citrus zest or both. Pasta sauce or meat marinade that’s spent time in the freezer regains at least some of its youthful vigor with a few leaves of fresh oregano or thyme, or parsley snipped over the top and a quick grating of lemon zest during the last minute or two of reheating.
