Two would-be shoplifters evaded store security at a Wal-Mart in Colorado Springs when one of them fired a warning shot into the ceiling, police said tonight.
The store’s loss-prevention officers scuffled with the pair before the single shot was fired at 3:42 p.m. at the store at 8250 Razorback Road. The suspected thieves then raced out the north doors of the store and got away, police said.
