Two suspects are in custody and two remain at large in connection with a home invasion in Adams County in which two people were shot.
The home invasion and shootings happened at about 8 p.m. Monday in the 7900 block of Mona Court, according to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.
Two victims were taken to Denver Health Medical Center with injuries that were not life-threatening, said Adams County sheriff’s spokeswoman Candi Baker.
The victims’ names, ages and gender were not released.
The sheriff’s office did not release the names of the suspects in custody because there are “positive identification issues,” said Capt. Michael McIntosh.
Two suspects remain at large, McIntosh said.
A motive for the home invasion and shootings was not released.
A vehicle used in the incident was found in the area at the Conifer Landing Apartments complex, McIntosh said.
The sheriff’s office is expected to release the names of the men in custody after positive identification.
