COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—A shoplifter confronted by store security at a Colorado Springs Wal-Mart brandished a gun and fired a single shot in the store, but no one was hurt.
Police say two suspected shoplifters were confronted Tuesday afternoon by Wal-Mart employees. One of the suspected shoplifters showed a gun and fired a shot into the ceiling of the store’s doorway. At that point, police say, store security let them go.
Police have not released any description of the two suspects, who fled the store by car.
