LeBron James won the last time he was in Denver, but the Mile High City hasn’t been kind to the the Cavs’ star forward.

In six games played against the Nuggets at the Pepsi Center, King James is 1-5. He averages 25 points on 45.2 percent shooting, 8.8 rebounds and 7.5 assists.

James lit up the Nuggets for a triple-double on Jan. 19, 2007, going for 30 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists, but the Cavs lost that game. And that brings us to the duel between James and Nuggets forward Carmelo Anthony, who may miss this year’s Pepsi Center game with a knee injury. Anthony has been dominant in the series, going 8-4 against James all time, although James has won the past two.

“I think the thing that Melo should be proud of is he’s won most of the games,” Nuggets coach George Karl said. “Last year they got us, but we also got them for a couple of years.”
