The U.S. airline industry recorded its best ever on-time performance for a single month in November.
Nearly 89 percent of flights arrived on time or within 14 minutes of schedule, according to statistics released Thursday by the Bureau of Transportation Statistics.
Denver International Airport was No. 3 in the on-time column among airports at nearly 93 percent. Salt Lake city was first and Las Vegas, second.
Of DIA’s three largest carriers, United Airlines was No. 2 at 92.6 percent, Southwest was No. 3 at 92 percent and Frontier was No. 15 with 88 percent.
