FORT COLLINS, Colo.—Firefighters say a blaze that broke out Wednesday at a Colorado State University barn started after a small fire from a day earlier rekindled.
Poudre Fire Authority spokesman Patrick Love says a small fire started Tuesday at the CSU Agricultural Research, Development and Education Center northeast of Fort Collins while the staff was grinding hay. Love says the fire rekindled Wednesday.
There were about 500 large bales of hay at the center. There was no indication that any animals at the facility were seriously threatened.
