Snap the colors of Telluride. The first Photography Festival in Telluride will be Sept. 20-26. The event is timed for the photographers to capture the changing fall light and the aspens turning gold and orange. The week-long festival is geared toward professional and experienced amateur photographers and features field classes, workshops, seminars, portfolio reviews and exhibits. The Photography Festival is teaming up with the Ah Haa School of the Arts, which will help to promote the festival and will host a number of events as well as the opening reception and gallery shows at the school’s historic Depot building. or 970-728-3866.
