DULUTH, Minn. — Jack Connolly scored two power-play goals and Minnesota-Duluth dominated Colorado College for the second straight night, beating the Tigers 4-1 on Saturday to move into second place in the WCHA.

The Bulldogs (14-7-1, 10-5-1 WCHA) trail league-leading Denver by two points following the Pioneers’ 3-2 victory over Alaska-Anchorage on Saturday.

Minnesota-Duluth held the Tigers (12-7-3, 8-5-3) to a season-low 19 shots for the second consecutive game.

The Bulldogs’ Kyle Schmidt, Jack Connolly and Mike Connolly scored the first three goals of the game. Rylan Schwartz scored for Colorado College late in the third period, but Jack Connolly added his second goal for the Bulldogs with less that two minutes to play.

AIR FORCE ACADEMY — Jacques Lamoureux’s second goal of the game, with 1:40 remaining, gave the Falcons (9-8-5, 8-4-5 AHA) a tie with the Huskies (2-15-3, 2-10-3).
