Matt Kuchar won two trophies last year, one a little more meaningful than the other. Kuchar won the Turning Stone Resort Championship for his second career PGA Tour victory. His other was a consolation prize — in tennis. Kuchar and his wife Sybi, who played tennis at Georgia Tech, played in the U.S. Tennis Association’s National Husband-Wife Championship in October, winning the consolation draw. His wife left Georgia Tech and taught tennis in California, and after they began dating, they started playing more. “She wears me out with baseline rallies,” Kuchar said. The Associated Press
