NEW YORK — Citigroup Inc. said Monday that Teresa Dial is stepping down as chief executive of its North America consumer banking unit for personal reasons — the latest move in a string of changes in the bank’s management over the past year.

She will be replaced by Manuel Medina-Mora, who will continue to serve as chairman and CEO of Citi Latin America and Mexico.
