FORT COLLINS, Colo.—Republican candidates seeking to challenge Rep. Betsy Markey for the 4th Congressional District seat have agreed to debate each other.

State Rep. Cory Gardner of Yuma, University of Colorado Regent Tom Lucero of Berthoud, former Fort Collins City Council member Diggs Brown and Tea Party movement activist Dean Madere of Loveland have agreed in principle to several debates before caucuses and primaries.

The first debate is set for Feb. 4 at Windsor High School. Other dates have not yet been set.

The Republican nominee for the 4th District seat will take on Markey, a Democrat, in November.
