Every little bit counts. With the news today that the Red Cross’ text messaging-based donation program has collected more than $8 million – via individual $10 texts that read HAITI to 90999, which are then attached to contributors’ cell phone bills – comes good news from the Denver music community. A show at the Meadowlark on Saturday night is now a fundraiser, with all profits going to UNICEF’s Haiti Earthquake Relief Fund.
