The winner: R.J. “Bob” Ferenc, Longmont:
Manilda G. Raffe, by Michele VandenHeuvel, is supposed to be resting there in (perpetual, frozen stiff?) awed reminiscence over a speech she heard then- Vice President Teddy Roosevelt give at the train depot in Longmont in 1900. She does seem to be rather “frigid” despite her fancy hat. She’s described as “in her mid-forties, never married” in the story plaque by her bench. Actually, I think she has a remarkable resemblance to Jar-Jar Binks, and she might’ve had better chances for love if she’d landed on his planet.
