PE for grownups

The Denver Social and Sports Club (formerly known as Denver Sands and Play Coed) is putting together its winter rosters for basketball, volleyball and indoor soccer. The club also organizes dodgeball and bowling leagues, and will host a new-member party at Wahoo’s Fish Tacos, 1521 Blake St., 7 p.m. Jan. 28. Annual membership is $14.95.

Boulder’s Bike to Work Day

To honor bicyclists who commute throughout the year and to encourage more riders to join in, GO Boulder hosts the second annual Winter Bike to Work Day Wednesday from 7:30 to 9 a.m., with breakfast and hot chocolate stops at six locations and prizes for participants. Organizers hope to have 1,000 riders. Breakfast stations:
