DAY CARE EXPOSURE

LINCOLN—A 47-year-old man accused of exposed himself to a 4-year-old girl at his wife’s day care in Lincoln has been charged with felony child abuse. Bail was set at $25,000 Friday, and Brian Delaine was freed after a 10 percent bond of $2,500 was posted. He faces up to five years in prison, a $10,000 fine, or both if convicted of one felony count of intentional child abuse, no injury.

SWITZERLAND-SWISS RE

GENEVA—Swiss Reinsurance Co. said Monday it transferred part of its U.S. life insurance business to American investor Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway Inc. for 1.3 billion Swiss francs ($1.27 billion) to free up capital and invest it more profitably.
