Ring up another honor for “Melo.”

Nuggets forward Carmelo Anthony was named Western Conference player of the week for games played Monday, Jan. 11 through Sunday, Jan. 17, the NBA announced today.

Anthony, who leads the NBA in scoring at 30.0 points per game, averaged 29.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.0 steals per game in three games last week. He led the Nuggets to home victories over over Minnesota, Orlando and Utah.

Anthony has garnered 10 player-of-the-week honors in his six-plus seasons in the NBA — building on his team record.
