Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton said the U.S. is taking steps to expedite planned adoptions of Haitian orphans in response to concerns from prospective parents. The State Department, Department of Homeland Security and Department of Health and Human Services are coordinating with private groups and the Haitian government, she said.
