CASTLE ROCK, Colo.—A jury convicted a 47-year-old Denver man for killing his landlord by stabbing and running him over with a car.
A Douglas County jury deliberated for a day and a half before delivering a first-degree murder verdict against Warren Worthington. The verdict means Worthington will be sentenced to life in prison March 30.
Authorities arrested Worthington on January 2008 after discovering the body of 61-year-old Henry Blair on a dirt lot by the side of Interstate 25 in Douglas County.
Blair was the leasing agent for a property Worthington was renting for his auto detailing business. Worthington was evicted from the property for not paying rent.
