DENVER—Another defendant indicted on a charges of running 11 brothels throughout the state has pleaded guilty.
The Attorney General’s office said Wednesday that 59-year-old Jose Antonio Vigueras-Nolasco pleaded guilty to pimping and was sentenced to four years in prison. Prosecutors say Vigueras-Nolasco was part of a group that operated nine brothels in Denver and two in Longmont and Glenwood Springs.
The indictment said the brothels operated from late 2006 to April 2009 under the name, “Mi Casa Su Casa.” Investigators say the brothels would receive $40 to $50 from patrons for sex and that cocaine was also sold at the brothels.
Eight of the 15 people charged have pleaded guilty. One defendant had the charges dismissed.
