A man who was shot Monday night in Aurora has died and has been identified as 20-year-old Loren Collins of Aurora.
Shortly after 9 p.m. on Monday Aurora police officers responded to a call about a shooting near Buckley Road and East Quincy Avenue, according to Aurora police.
Collins was found shot and in critical condition. He was immediately transported to a local hospital where he later died.
Investigators determined Collins was shot when multiple shots were fired during a dispute involving an unknown number of people.

Early Tuesday morning, during the investigation of this case a car allegedly driven by 24-year-old Jason Michael Cooper tore through the crime scene, forcing officers to scatter. The car later struck a tree, Bob Friel, spokesman for the Aurora Police Department said.
Officers found Cooper hiding behind a bush. Cooper was arrested for investigation of driving under the influence, careless driving and driving with a revoked licence.
