The Philadelphia Wings picked a bad time to get hit with a two-minute goalie interference penalty — early in overtime, and the Colorado Mammoth took advantage as Alex Gajic took a cross-crease pass from his brother Ilja and converted for a 12-11 National Lacrosse League road win Saturday at the Wachovia Center.
The Mammoth forced overtime when Jamie Shewchuck scored with less than two minutes remaining. He had a pair of goals and two assists. Alex Gajic had a hat trick, and Ilja had two goals and two assists. Goaltender Andrew Leyshon recorded 41 saves.
