PARK CITY, Utah — A U.S. postage stamp that commemorates the upcoming 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver, British Columbia, shows an airborne snowboarder against a snow-capped mountain backdrop.
The new stamp was highlighted during a Friday night ceremony after the U.S. Snowboarding Grand Prix at the Park City Mountain Resort. The stamp, illustrated by Steve McCracken, went on sale nationwide Friday. Officials say 45 million of the 2010 Olympic Winter Games stamps have been printed. The Associated Press
