The Cherry Creek School District broke ground Monday on a $14 million project approved by voters in 2008.
Work on the Institute of Science and Technology at Overland and Prairie — a Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) education building — is underway with completion scheduled for August 2011.
When finished, the institute, housed in a 58,000-square-foot building, will serve sixth- through 12th-graders.
