DENVER—A Christian group is holding a prayer vigil at Denver’s Civic Center Park to advocate “for more just immigration laws.”
Denver-area ministers are expected to be part of the vigil scheduled for 4:30 p.m. Tuesday in front of the state Capitol. The event is being organized by the Christian Community Development Association’s Evangelical Witness for Immigration Reform.
The group says similar events are planned in Phoenix, Orange County, Calif., Chicago, Miami and Memphis, Tenn.
