Happy Birthday, Dick Martin
As half of the comedy team behind “Rowan & Martin’s Laugh- In,” Dick Martin dominated prime-time television from 1968 to 1973. If he were around, he’d be 88 on Saturday, and we’d sock it to him with a classic gin martini.
Gin Martini
Makes 1.
Ingredients
2 ounces gin
1/2 ounce vermouth
Directions
Fill a bar glass halfway with ice. Add gin and vermouth and stir 30 seconds. Strain into chilled glass and garnish with one or three olives (not two, which is bad luck).
