Getting your player ready...

While the Avalanche will get one defenseman, Ryan Wilson, back for tonight’s game with the Minnesota Wild, another, captain Adam Foote, remains sidelined.

Wilson, coach Joe Sacco said, has been cleared to play again following a concussion that sidelined him two games. Foote, however, still is recuperating from an ankle injury. Foote did skate this morning, along with fellow injured teammates Marek Svatos and Ruslan Salei.

The Wild will be without starting goalie Niklas Backstrom, who is out with a bad back.

The Avs will try for a season-best seventh straight victory over their Northwest Division rivals.
