Westbound lanes of U.S. 36 will be closed tonight between Church Ranch Boulevard and Colo. 121 for work on a pedestrian bridge, RTD said in a news release.
Workers from the Regional Transportation District need to adjust a pedestrian bridge near the Odeum (previously called the Broomfield Events Center).
Westbound traffic will be diverted starting at 11 p.m. to Church Ranch, then Wadsworth Boulevard and back to U.S. 36.
Eastbound travelers will not be affected.
The westbound lanes of the highway are scheduled to reopen by 5:30 a.m. tomorrow.
