Former Broncos tight end Shannon Sharpe said during a CBS news conference Tuesday he thought Dallas Clark could have a 12-catch, 150-yard, MVP-type of Super Bowl. “I don’t think anyone on the Saints can cover him,” Sharpe said.
Maybe Darren Sharper can. Sharper tied for the NFL-lead with nine interceptions, and returned three for touchdowns. Clark led all NFL tight ends with 100 catches and ranked second in yards (1,106) and touchdowns (10). Both Sharper and Clark were named to the Pro Bowl.
