Mexican tourism took a hit Wednesday.
The Billups family was originally going to vacation in Cabo during the NBA’s all-star break, but now Chauncey has to work. The Nuggets guard will be heading to the Dallas area to participate in the All-Star Game on Feb. 14. Mr. Big Shot will replace injured Hornets guard Chris Paul.
Looking at Billups in the race to replace Paul, Nuggets coach George Karl said, “Chauncey should feel like (President Barack) Obama in the presidential election. This is, to me, a fairly lop- sided vote. He should win it, he should be honored and we should move on.”
