WHO DAT? WHO DAT? SEN. HU-DAK! DAT’S WHO!

Sen. Evie Hudak has unwittingly become a walking reminder of the New Orleans Saints Super Bowl victory.

The chant “Who dat? Who dat? Who dat say dey gonna beat dem Saints?” is a hallmark when the team plays.

“Are they cheering my name (HU-DAK)? — Oh, right, WHO DAT! Yea, Saints!” Hudak tweeted Sunday night.

So, is the Westminster Democrat a Saints fan? “I am now,” she said Monday, donning a black and gold outfit.

Roswell shaped “alien” views

Republican Rep. Larry Liston of Colorado Springs took the podium Monday to congratulate the Boy Scouts of America on the organization’s 100th anniversary, mentioning that he had been a Scout in Roswell, N.M. One observer seized the close-encounter friendly locale and quipped, “No wonder he hates illegal aliens.”

Gaping Capitol omission

Colorado’s gold-domed Capitol leads the state’s list of endangered buildings, but there’s no money to fix it. “We’re so freaking broke, we can’t even pay for a portrait of President Obama,” said House Majority Leader Paul Weissmann, D-Louisville. The Gallery of Presidents on the third floor does, in fact, end with a portrait of President George W. Bush.
