The FBI on Tuesday identified two men a federal grand jury thinks are the “Hoppin’ Hoodie Bandits”armed bank robbers who held up a series of Denver banks last year.
Timothy McGlothin, 41, remains at large. His alleged accomplice, Joshua Licona, 19, is in federal custody. McGlothin has a lengthy arrest record, including burglary, theft, escape and weapons charges. Licona has no serious prior record.
McGlothin is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall, 150 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. The robbers got their nicknames for their apparel and because they hopped on counters to demand money.
The FBI said McGlothin should be considered armed and dangerous, and an undisclosed cash reward is being offered for information leading to his arrest, the FBI said in a statement.
