Jefferson County investigators are seeking an Illinois woman accused of 43 counts of identity theft, related to money taken from numerous banks in the Denver metro area, prosecutors said Tuesday.

Andrea Harris-Frazier, 54, used fake driver’s licenses, stolen checks and other documents to fleece 28 victims between November 2006 and May 2009, according to the Jefferson County district attorney’s office.

One of her victims was Margot Somerville, a 64-year-old Wells Fargo bank vice president and the mother of a prominent Republican strategist. Somerville was initially accused of the fraud.
