EAGLE, Colo.—Eagle County sheriff’s officials have arrested three men accused of selling cocaine to an undercover detective Saturday.

Sheriff’s officials said Wednesday that 31-year-old Nicolas Valencia-Alvarez and 33-year-old Marin Ibarra-Mellin of Glenwood Springs and 21-one-year-old Jose Miguel Cruz-Chimal of Carbondale are each being held on $50,000 bond.

Each faces charges of possession and distribution of cocaine.

Ibarra-Mellin also faces charges of criminal impersonation and possession of forged instruments on accusations that he had fake ID cards and gave officers a false name.

Authorities say the men are in the U.S. illegally.

It was unclear if they have lawyers who could comment on their behalf.
