The dirt on gardening

Colorado may still be weeks from its last frost, but gardeners are already gearing up for a new season. Any of them wondering whether potatoes can grow in a container, why their tomato plants tend to be low producers, or hoping to solve any other Rocky Mountain gardening mysteries can now have questions answered at the Denver Botanic Garden. On Tuesday and Feb. 23, from noon to 4 p.m., Colorado Master Gardeners will be available in the Helen Fowler Library to answer questions in person, over the telephone or via e-mail. Call 720-865-3575 or send your questions to gardeninghelp@botanicgardens.org.
